In this day and age you would of thought that mental health wouldn't be an issue. Its just as much of an issue as cancer and it is quite terrifying and sad really. Im not going to sit here and write about how everything will change and the world will be a better place but I cant make promises like that. However I can provide some support and tips about mental health.

Over the past few years I have had some struggle with my mental health and it was a struggle and initially didn't speak to anyone didn't try to get help. I just thought it was normal and I would have to deal with it and it would go away. It ate me alive daily and it become to much for me. I turned to 2 close teachers of mine and they helped me every step of the way and I couldn't of done it without them.

People will always say talk to someone it will help and solve everything. Half true. Talking to someone did help and they both helped me organise some support. It didn't solve everything. I had counselling/coaching and this seemed to work but however on a personal decision I stopped my sessions and decided to work on myself for me not for some paperwork and worksheets. I took up meditating and just simple things a day to start to love myself again. One simple thing that could help is to look in the mirror and instead of looking for the negatives look for one positive. I know your probably sitting there thinking that currently that could be the hardest task ever, I thought that but just start off simple think about your pride possession of yourself, mine is my nails and I used to stand there and think 'well at least my nails look nice' soon you will start seeing the better in yourself.

Even if this post will help one person it will make me so much better thinking that my struggle could hopefully one day help and support someone would mean the world.
